What we cover

We cover new work and utility trailers: dump, utility, landscape, equipment, flatbed, deckover, gooseneck, car hauler, tilt, pintle, and enclosed cargo. How we check the specs

• Straight from the maker. Every spec on a model page comes from the manufacturer’s own product page, spec sheet, or brochure. We don’t use dealer listings or forum posts for specs.
• Every weight is checked. Before a page goes live, we check each GVWR, empty weight, and payload number against the source it came from.
• Dated and linked. Each model page shows when we last checked it and links to the manufacturer’s page, so you can check us.
• Pulled when it’s gone. When a manufacturer stops listing a model, we take the page down. When a maker’s page and spec sheet disagree, we use the more detailed sheet or leave the number out.

Specs still change mid-year. Confirm the numbers with your dealer before you buy, and if you spot one we got wrong, tell us the page and the fix.

How the Price Guide works

The free Trailer Price Guide covers 972 models from 29 manufacturers. Prices come from independent dealer listings and manufacturer starting MSRPs, and every price carries a label that says how solid it is, from a typical dealer price backed by several listings to a single-listing estimate. We never average an MSRP into dealer prices. It’s a research reference, not a quote.

Who writes it

Our coverage comes from the Trailer Desk, a team of 6 trailer specialists, each with their own beat, from dump and equipment trailers to hitches, towing math, and build quality. Every page they publish follows the same editorial standards: specs sourced from the manufacturer, current pricing research, and no sponsor influence on recommendations.

How we make money

The site is free to use. Advertising and partnerships pay for it, and they are always labeled. No manufacturer or dealer pays for a recommendation, a ranking, or a spot on a page. We don’t sell trailers, and we aren’t a dealer, manufacturer, lender, or insurer.
